Om hela ”bloggareliten”, inklusive Howard Rheingold, ska upp till Umeå den 11-12 november, borde man inte kunna få dem att stannat till i Stockholm på hemvägen?

    Not sure if there is such a thing as a ”blogger elite” or if we’re even part of it. Blogwalks are just fun and interesting to do. Would you be interested in joining us in Umea?

  2. Sure there is a blogger elite! :-) I didn’t mean it a negative way, I just used the word to refer to the people who are very involved in blogging events like Blog Talk and Blog Walk.

    Stephanie in Umeå already invited me to join you guys but the problem is I have just started my new job by then and I don’t think I can ask for a day off on my first week!

    My suggestion was simply that since all you people have to change planes in Stockholm anyway, why don’t stop there and meet some more bloggers :-) Like me for example! :-)

  3. That would have been nice. I wonder whether we could make that reciprocal – i.e. that interesting people visting Stockholm also get to go to Umeå :) .

    Actually, there is often ”sharing” in academia. Rheingold will come to Umeå directly from a conference in Bergen. And people like him tend to be on tight schedules. It has taken me about three years to get him to come to us!

    We will stream his seminar live though…
